Internet Evangelism Day
www.internetevangelismday.com
Internet Evangelism Day advocates to Christians the strategic potential of the Web for outreach by:
- an annual worldwide focus day on the last Sunday of April, for churches and other Christian groups, enabling them to explain to their members the potential of the Web for effective outreach. Participating groups use IE Day’s free downloads: PowerPoint, video-clips, drama scripts, handouts, and MP3s, to create a presentation of any length to suit their requirements.
- a year-round web evangelism resource guide, offering pages covering a wide range of digital evangelism strategies, with free articles for editors to use.
Their partnership with other groups, including the Guide Network, offers:
- consultation, networks and conferences for those involved in non-English and non-Western digital evangelism, including integrated follow-up.
- a worldwide panel of speakers available for conferences, bible colleges, mission agency consultations, etc.
The monthly email Web Evangelism Bulletin and Digital Evangelism Issues blog provide further news, ideas and discussion.
IE Day believes that digital media have huge potential in the Great Commission, yet these opportunities are not yet fully appreciated or used. It is linked with the Internet Evangelism Coalition, based at the Billy Graham Center, Wheaton. All IE Day resources are free and it does not raise money.
